Ethereal

It’s amazing how someone

Who radiates so much beauty

That she often appears quite

Ethereal

Can be put into a state

Where she needs to become

Ethereal

Yet will linger for longer

On the periphery

Always just out of sight

When I turn to face

What must be a dream

That haunts with a glow

As seen through a mist

In the most resplendent sunlight

But not, merely banished

Out of a sad and

Reluctant necessity

To disappear

Into the ether.
